We are one of the most active drillers in the Southern Midland Basin, where we have drilled approximately 525 wells since 2004. We leverage our expertise in tight gas sands and shale reservoirs to optimize the productive capabilities of multiple oil and gas-bearing zones through advanced completion techniques.
Historically, we focused on tight gas sands, the Canyon Sands, and the Strawn and Ellenburger formations. The data from drilling our Canyon, Strawn and Ellenburger wells, combined with a detailed geological study, led to the discovery of the shallower Clearfork and Wolfcamp zones. Delineation of the Clearfork and Wolfcamp zones across our acreage position is underway with our drilling program for 2011. Our objectives for our 2011 drilling program also include improving initial production rates by refining our completion strategy, advancing our understanding of optimal well spacing and hydrocarbon recovery and improving our cost structure.
